You have two ways of achieving that – either by playing back the audio track and clicking on the icons provided when reaching the start and end points, or by inputting the times yourself. These can be as accurate as you wish, as they allow for times down to the millisecond. Regrettably, you cannot make use of your mouse to select the fragment you wish to cut just by dragging it over the area you wish to extract, as it is the norm in most audio editors and cutting tools. Actually, the current size of the waveform graph wouldn’t allow you to do it accurately either. The interface cannot be enlarged in any way, and the graph itself offers no zooming capabilities to take a closer look to the cutting points.

Mind you, make sure that you select them in the exact order you want them to be glued together, as the program won’t let you move any of the files on the list neither up nor down. You can set the quality of the resulting file by clicking on the Setting button provided. Here you can choose your favorite bit and sample rates, and the number of channels the file will have. One more caveat – be careful not to click by mistake on Escape key or the Enter key, as the program will close right away without allowing you to save anything.
When it comes to cutting and joining MP3 files, this tool works like a charm. Its straightforward functionality may look a bit restrictive at times in terms of usability and you will have to learn a few tricks if you don’t want to lose your work by accident.
